Dave's Gourmet's Overnight Oats

When I was blessed with the opportunity to try Dave’s Gourmet’s Overnight Oats, I jumped on it!  I LOVE overnight oats and sometimes I need a little help with time. Let’s face it, overnight oats are easy to make, and I forget about them. By morning time, it’s too late because the overnight part is past. Dave’s Gourmet takes the gathering and measuring all of the individual ingredients and putting them in a container off the to-do list. With this product, all you do is add liquid. I chose my favorite non-dairy Good Karma Flax milk with protein. I added milk to cover the oats, closed the lid and voilà by morning they were ready to eat.

 

Helena and I tried all 4 flavors: Apple Nut, Cinnamon Raisin, Blueberry Vanilla Almond and Mixed Berry. They are all good and taste exactly like the description suggests. Dave’s Gourmet Overnight Oats are certified gluten free and pack 8-9 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber and that’s before you add the liquid or toppings. All of Dave’s Gourmet’s overnight oats contain chia seeds and you all know how I love those for their fiber, antioxidants and omega 3’s. The oats are primarily made with organic ingredients and are made right here in the USA.

 

 

 

 

Instant oatmeal is one of my go-to travel foods. Add hot water and a healthy breakfast is achieved. Not to mention the cost savings when traveling. Dave’s Gourmet offers me another option for breakfast that is healthy and requires little to no effort. I’ve even been known to empty a mini-fridge and hit up a grocery store while staying at a hotel…. And that’s another post, ha!
