Granola Snack Attack!
Granola is one of my favorite snacks. It’s a fiber packed, portable snack that can be eaten any time of the day. I enjoy mine sprinkled over nondairy yogurt, oatmeal, and nice cream. You can even pair it with popcorn for movie nights with the family. If nothing else just tilt your head back and pour it out of your palm into your mouth and fall into granola bliss!
This tree hugging outdoor camping adventure snack was once only thought about by few. Now you can find several different brands at your local grocery store. What they don't tell you is how much sugar and preservatives you are actually taking in! Checking the ingredients on the back is essential as brushing your teeth. So today, I just went for it and created my own granola. My oven created a yummy crunchy goodness and my home was filled with the aroma of King cake. Just in time for the for Mardi Gras season!
I want to remind you that if you have an allergy or sensitivity to wheat or dairy, you must remember to notice your ingredient panel. Some Whole oats are manufactured in a factory that may also process
wheat and dairy. To avoid any issues, purchase your oats from a certified gluten free brand.
