Blueberry and Banana Protein Smoothie Bowl


I will admit to eating this smoothie bowl for dinner. It was late and time was getting away from me. I looked in the refrigerator and nothing fit my mood so a smoothie bowl it was for dinner that night. It is easy to get a full meal from a smoothie bowl if you pack it with protein and sometimes I even pack them with greens depending on my mood. Make smoothie bowls work for you. What are you craving? And what’s not to love? It’s as good as ice cream.

This smoothie bowl is simply made with 1 frozen banana, ½ cup of frozen blueberries, a few strawberries, ½ cup of nondairy milk, 1 scoop of plant based protein powder and a tablespoon of collagen blended or processed on high until a creamy consistency is achieved. I topped this bowl with crushed banana chips, pumpkin seed and a soft pear. This was so good my little on ate the other half.
