Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl
The fall season is showing up with Friday night lights over high school football stadiums, the pumpkins and smell of cinnamon that greets you as you walk into grocery stores. With all of these hints around, it’s hard not to want something pumpkin flavored and I LOVE pumpkin. This refreshing Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl does the trick. It’s cool and refreshing for our warm climate and still offers the taste you are craving. There is a bit of prep work involved in freezing the pumpkin puree ahead of time. You will need to purchase pureed pumpkin and freeze it in small cups. I used a silicone muffin pan and froze about ¼ cup in each slot.

You will need: ¼ cup of frozen pumpkin puree, 1 frozen banana, 1 scoop of plant based vanilla protein powder, 1 tsp of cinnamon and ½ cup of nondairy Pumpkin Nog. Blend on high until a creamy ice creamy consistency is achieved and serve. I topped this bowl with raw pumpkin seeds, a dash of allspice and hemp seeds. I shared it with friends and it was delicious!
