Post Workout Smoothie
It’s no secret that replacing a meal with a fruit & veggie filled plant based protein smoothie will help knock off those unwanted pounds and since I ate cake yesterday, I’m on the smoothie wagon today. The keys are to make the shake hardy enough that you don’t need to eat a meal too and that you don’t put too many sugary fruit options to avoid a crash.
I had a really tough Lagree workout at Body Factory this morning with a whole lot of muscle shaking going on so this is a great combo to keep me full and supply my muscles some fuel to rebuild.
1 cup of spinach, 1 banana, ½ cup of fresh strawberries, 1 tbs of cashew butter, 1 cup of non-diary milk, 1 scoop of plant based vanilla protein. Fill with water and blend.
